This Standard covers design requirements and construction details for the three cyclonic design wind classifications C1, C2 and C3.
For easy specification this Standard provides simpler design procedures to those contained in Part 2 for N1/N2 wind classifications. It provides simplified design procedures for timber span solutions, bracing and tie-down. In some situations it will provide more conservative solutions than those derived from Part 2.
